Neo's finally gone, just went on to give a few people my e-mail/lj if they wanna keep in touch. AIM has been removed too since i never use it anymore. Gonna be getting a new MSN in a week or so. Leave a message here if you want me to carry you over to the new one with your e-mail because I won't be transferring.

Will probably follow with a new friends only LJ in a few weeks when I can be bothered with a select group of friends. Just somewhere to chat about life. Likewise, if you wanna be moved over to the new LJ just post here.

Posts are screened so no-one can steal your e-mail or whatever.

So like, I managed to get ahold of the new My Chemical Romance album, The Black Parade, and it rocks! Seriously.

Such a shame though, they've moved on from playing 3,000 people venues to like 45,000 people arenas here :( Suppose that's what happens when your first single hits number 1 in the charts. Gonna be full of emo's and fakes. Ewwwwww.

Can't wait till it's released on Monday too. Gonna go for the black folder limited edition type, it's so pretty! :D

Sometimes, a hug is all what we need. Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whos sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.

In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.

As this symbol of human hope spread accross the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign BANNED. What we then witness is the true spirit of humanity come together in what can only be described as awe inspiring.

In the Spirit of the free hugs campaign, PASS THIS TO A FRIEND and HUG A STRANGER! After all, If you can reach just one person...

Music by Sick Puppies.
National Pig Day
March 1st
United States of America

National Pig Day recognizes and gives thanks to domesticated pigs. For some unknown reason, big, pot-bellied pigs seen in zoos, are often the symbol of the day. Pigs are clever and intelligent animals. But, most people are unaware of this high level of intelligence. They can be taught to do tricks. Some people even keep them as pets. Today is a day to give pigs the respect that they deserve.

Wow, what isn't there a day for in america? o_O

So like, I took a few pictures of Taking Back Sunday back when I saw them in august with my phone. They're not the best quality, but it was too fun to care! lol. We had a few reaaaaally short people in front of us, but other than that we were front row :P Managed to steal the mic during 'A Decade Under The Influence' and sung a few lines. It was sooooooooo crazy o_o

The venue was in a really odd part of London. It was like down a back road in a huge Indian area. Literally every shop front along the road for a mile was an Indian or Chinese restaurant, with a man standing outside trying to get you to go inside xD They were like "20% off!" and shit to annoy you o_o One dude offered a free drink, and when I asked if I was allowed the drink without the meal he told me to go away ;(

So like, Taking Back Sunday are performing on the 21st August at a place called 93 Feet East. I have no clue why, as it's only a 150 person venue. Considering they're playing Reading Festival at the end of the month which is like a hundred thousand people, it's crazy to do a 150 person venue!

Oh well, I got tickets :D Gonna be a fucking awesome gig, ahh!

"Nightmare. Vivid life like terrifying dreams and calling the dreamer of the Dead. Chased for the light by the unknown during which the pulse increases. Blood pumps. Temperature rises. The episode is common with the innocent children like following the traumatic events such as death. Warning. Rare cases require treatment and some are lost for fear of all fears. A subconscious mind. A dark room, in which these images are developed. It is then they realize; The conscious mind abuses it. Subconscious mind usually events before it takes place reflectively without knowing. It angers most. Jealousy. Hatred. Even desire to hurt others. Emotions storm to subtle impressions giving birth to tendencies. To turning the character, posing a threat. And deranged individuals. Every violent crime has lurked in us since the beginning as we rise to meet the light of a new day... Like in a nightmare."

Just incase people wondered, or cared, I am still alive. Pretty much totally dumped the net for offline life, which is why I'm never on MSN/AIM and don't post here. I still check my e-mails daily on otters01@hotmail.com, but other than that I'm just making the most of life around me.

Give It A Name rocked. Ended up down the hospital yesterday cause a friend got hurt, went back to the venue and then I ended up with a fractured rib. Even though everyone ended up in pain one way or another, amongst the bazillion bruises and cuts, it was the best concert by miles! So many parts of it made me smile, even today after the concert ended. It was definately worth it!

In response to my last post, everything got sorted in the end and there's nothing to worry about, so yay :)

Just thought I'd say that I am alive and stuff, since a few people have been asking where I've been o.o

Been busy on and off recently, hardly actually been online even when home. Not sure why, just been using my time to watch movies and stuff or listen to music or watch tv. I'll try and be online more, or at least update this thing in the future :)

Sooo tired though. Had a late one last night, on one hours sleep, and not much the nights before, so kinda feeling it now. Swung the day off work saying I hurt my leg, so now I've gotta somehow get crutches by tomorrow morning for work. Hmm...

So like, just thought I'd let you know I'm still alive!

Look, it's my pretty ticket to Taking Back Sunday last night :o

So like, guess I'll do a brief rundown of the last week.

Been working waaaaaaay too much. In all honesty I don't recall much of the last week other than work and last night, so I guess I'll actually just update about yesterday :D

Woke up kinda early, after hardly sleeping at all. Had a doctors appointment at about 10am to try and sort out my chest infection, so dragged myself down there. Had a few tests, listened to my chest, all the usual junk that goes on at the doctors. Was there a good 45 mins to an hour before the doctor gave up and just prescribed me antibiotics xD

After talking about them with the doctor for a bit, I found out that I shouldn't operate machinery, drive, or anything like that within an hour of taking them. That's not too bad, but while on them I should never drink alcohol or smoke. I don't smoke anyway, but there ain't no way you're going to stop me drinking my trusty alcohol xD Left the doctors, picked up the antibiotics and headed on home.

Once I got home, I took one, and pretty much soon after fell asleep. After having no sleep for the past few weeks due to coughing non-stop whenever I lay down, I needed it. I was supposed to be meeting up with Jazz, but kinda slept a little too long, ooops :o

I'd gotten tickets to see Taking Back Sunday (http://www.takingbacksunday.com/). After organising things with Jazz online about 5pm, and working out how we'd get Phil a ticket since I only had two, I made my way up to Shepherds Bush Empire (http://www.shepherds-bush-empire.com/). Shepherds Bush is a small venue. It only has a capacity of 2,000 people, so pretty much wherever you stand, you're no further than 100 feet from the band.

We met up by Shepherds Bush tube station, and started making our way to the gig. After about 5 minutes we realised that none of us knew where it was, so I quickly ran into a shop to find out what way to go xD Didn't quite understand what the guy said, but we made it there pretty easily :D Once we got there, we had the task of buying Phil a ticket from a tout. The first dude didn't have standing, which is what me and Jazz had, but his friend did. At first we were told £30, which quickly dropped to £25. Knowing the guy had to sell the ticket that day else he'd make no money, we said £20. He was refusing to drop under £25, until we eventually got him to £22. I knew we'd get £20 for it, so when I told the guy we'd not only give him the £20 for the ticket, but Phil would kiss him too, he quickly accepted the £20 and we were in! :D

Walked in the doors, handed our tickets, and quickly joined a security queue. I have no clue why they had one, because the guy who was supposed to search you on the door literally patted your stomach and let you in xD Wandered down, where the support band, Beat Union, were already playing their music. I'd link you to their site, but I can't find it ;o We wandered around inside for a few minutes looking for the bar, which is when I realised the huge bar-like thing going all the way across in front of us, was in fact, the bar xD Ordered a few drinks and looked at the girls wandering around. One thing about gothic/emo girls is that you can't tell if they're 14 or 20 o_O

Once we'd finished our drinks, we slowly made our way into the mosh pit. This is where we met a new friend. I don't know his name, but he was quickly nicknamed terrorist :D We bounced around there a bit, randomly making noises (well I was, fuck knows why I was so hyper) and soon the band started. We were about midway between the front and the back, but as soon as everyone was jumping, we soon made it pretty close to the front. Once a few songs had played, I somehow managed to lose Jazz and Phil and made it to the front railing.

Huge mistake!

The last time I saw Taking Back Sunday I ended up having my head split open when a huge fight kicked off in the mosh pit, and got stitches. It wasn't too bad though, since I got to meet the band xD I was happily bouncing along to the songs when all of a sudden everyone pushed from behind. Normally it's not too bad, but for some reason they pushed ten times harder than normal, and as I flew into the barrier, I felt my wrist crack. Owwwwwww o_o

My wrist absolutely killed, so I made my way to the back of the pit to safety. Only took like 30 seconds to get out, so I went into the bathroom to run cold water over it cause it hurted ;( Walked out, and Jazz and Phil were both standing there. We went over to the bar and ordered a few more drinks in, where we actually had a really good view of the whole stage, with nothing in the way of our view :D

Just as the encore started, we decided to make our way out to avoid the rush. We started wandering over to the green towards McDonalds since we were all starving, and just generally fucked around. We were hyper, me especially, so I was like shouting weird noises and stuff o_O We got our McDonalds, and bundled onto the train, where I continued to act like a total idiot, not even drunk ;(

Changed trains, realised we got on the wrong one, so got off a few stops later and walked over to Leicester Square. It's not far, so it was all good. Went into the casino, where we got a couple more drinks (though Jazz and Phil only had coke) and went upstairs to play Blackjack. I was feeling so shitty what with the antibiotics and lack of sleep and my wrist that I decided to make my way home to get some rest.

I missed my last train, but there's another 20 minutes later, at 12:30, so I jumped on that one. Got to the stop I wanted and made the 20 minute wander home. Made it in the door about 1:30am where I came online to talk to a few people. At some point I must have decided to go to bed, but I don't remember when. Woke up at like 4pm today in bed, fully clothed, with my msn icons flashing away o_O I don't have a clue what happened to me, but I'd left webcam on, not said bye to anyone, it was weird ;(

After going into the bathroom and realising how much my wrist still hurt, and was swolen, I made my way down to the hospital. Had a few xrays done, but it's apparently too soon to know if there's any damage. They said my wrist could be fractured, but I have to go back tomorrow to double check on it. They put some strapping stuff around it for now and told me not to use it and stuff. Offered me antibiotics, but can't take them since I'm on these others. Fuckers ;(

My pretty wrist as it currently stands.

I woulda updated about the whole week, but since I can't remember it all, I can only assume that it was totally boring and stuff. I'd check chat logs, but I'm too lazy to do so :D

Oh, and I currently look like a total hobo xD

So like, this is Stana and Christa. Say hi!

One of the pics from the evening up in London. We got a limo and stuff, hella fun xD

So I guess I'll update about that day in London, even though some may have read it on Jazz's LJ.

Way back in October I was on my way up to London to meet Jazz and was sitting on the train and stuff, when they started diverting them and all that crap. I am so used to it I didn't even have to think, but I noticed someone looking confused as to where the train was going (Stana), so went up and explained what was going on. I like never talk to people on public transport because they scare me, but for some reason I felt sorry for her xD

We got talking and stuff, I found out that she was over here studying at the University 5 minutes away from me from Sept-Dec, and that she was from NJ. Since the train was going some fucked up long way, we had like over an hour so just talked about random crap, like how expensive London is and all the fun things to do here xD Since she hadn't been here long, only a few weeks, she said that she didn't really know anyone. Me being the kind hearted soul told her that if she was bored (since she lived about 2 minute drive away), that she could call me and we could do something. Normally when I tell a girl this, they just look at me oddly and walk away, but she actually smiled and we swapped numbers xD

Basically, went to London a few times with her, movies, for a meal and stuff and a random wander around London with Jazz and his sister one evening and all that funky stuff, which was on one of the occasions I met Christa too, the person she was sharing a house with while she was studying here.

Since they'd both become really good friends and stuff, and were leaving on December 18th (Sunday morning), I decided to organise a fun last night out for them :D I told Christa my plans and asked if she thought Stana would like it, and she agreed. I was going to keep it secret from the both, but then realised that they'd prolly plan to do something else on the Friday before they left so I had to tell Christa and made sure they kept the night free xD

Me and Jazz made our way to their house for like 7pm. As usual, I was late, and because of me, Jazz was late. As I was driving down the road I got a call from Stana who just screamed "Why the fuck is there a limo sitting outside my house?" and then hung up XD I pulled up outside the house just as Jazz got there too, and we went and knocked on the door. We went in, met Gabe (another american student) who was really funny xD The most excellent gay guy you've ever met xD We all bundled into the limo after the landlady's grandchildren had taken a look around inside it and such, and started our way into central London. On the way there we got through the first bottle of champagne so fast between us that we had to ask the driver to pull over and get a second bottle out ;o I managed to smash a champagne flute and then cut my hand on it, but luckily the driver just told me that if I threw it away, he'd pretend he'd never seen it. He was huge too, I thought he was gonna kill me ;(

After an hour or so we made it up to Leicester Square, where we decided to go and get a table in TGI Fridays. Being Christmas, they wouldn't let me book on the phone, so we had to put our names on the list. An hour and a half wait, so we wandered over to a bar called Sound (http://www.soundlondon.com/) and ordered a few pitchers of Sex On The Beach between us. We got through those pretty fast, and then between myself, Jazz and Gabe, drunk a bottle of 18 year old whisky. It tasted fucking gross, but it was funny at the same time xD An hour or so later, we wandered back over to TGI's.

Walking in, we asked to see if our table had gone, and just at that second they were taking us to our table. It just got called literally the second we walked in, so we all thought it was our lucky day ;o We sat down and all ordered drinks. Silver Mercedes (http://www.bolscocktails.com/), yummmmm! The whole drink tasted like orange sherbert, and the best thing about it, it was huge and alcoholic ;o

We munched our way through the three courses, and then it came down to the bill. I just looked at the price and went to get money out, when Gabe realised that £30 ($55) of the bill wasn't even ours o_O The woman took it off, and gave us the new bill. It was still expensive, £130 ($230) for the five of us, but it tasted good so who cares ;o Seriously, we told the woman that we all wanted to pay seperately (after waiting like an hour just to pay it) and she vanishes for 20 minutes. Comes back, and has split the bill some really weird pay that'd mean everyone was paying wrong amounts. Me and Jazz just kinda shrugged and went to pay and sort it out later, but since we were with Americans they weren't having any of it.

At this point, I wandered off to the bathroom and when I got back the manager was standing at our table xD Eventually the whole bill problem got sorted out (like way over an hour after we finished our food), we paid and basically ran :D It was a good meal, it's just a shame the service wasn't that good. She was a nice woman, she clearly couldn't handle the fast pace though ;(

Feeling full, we walked into Leicester Square where a man ran up to us offering cheap tickets to one of the clubs. We were going there anyway, so we went with him over to Zoo Bar (http://www.zoobar.co.uk/) and managed to skip a really big cue and paid only half of what everyone else did xD

Now, by this point, we'd had a fair bit of alcohol in us. Champagne, pitchers of cocktails, and the silver mercedes, but no, we didn't stop there ;) Ordered a few beers and tequila shots (they're gross but oh-so-good at the same time) and put our jackets in the cloakroom. Went onto the dancefloor for a bit when some random guy came up to us and dropped his trousers and started shouting at us. He'd already bugged us a few times before and I'd just told him where to go, but when he did that, it kinda annoyed me :D I ran over to the bar and asked for security, at which point some huge dude jumped over the bar and asked me to point out who it was. He went over, and a few backup were soon there to help him take the dude out. Yay, we could enjoy our evening in peace ;o

Stayed there till about 2am and then called Rob (the limo driver) and asked him to pick us up from around the corner. Went and got our jackets, and sat down for a little bit to relax and breathe :) Walked over to the limo, climbed into the back and literally collapsed. I'd been at work since 6am that morning, and hadn't had any sleep, so I was just dead xD While sitting there, we decided not to blare the music like we'd done on the way there, but instead had it on quiet while watching random car crashes on the tv in the limo (yeah.. random o_O). Gabe fell asleep at some point, and then Christa hopped out just down the road to go over a friends, and we all made it back safe and sound :D The night kicked ass, and seriously, a limo there as soon as you ask it to be so beats waiting for night transport xD

Saturday me and Jazz just did absolutely nothing that I can recall, just messed around watching movies and stuff and being idiots on cam ;) On Sunday morning I had to be up at like 7am to go and take Stana to the airport since she had loads of bags. Picked her up, swapped e-mail addresses etc since we hadn't already, and Stana went and wandered through customs. Well, after being told her bag was over the limit and having to swap some stuff between cases xD That sucked, it's like losing one of your best friends, even though I'd only known her a few months :(

Planning on going around the States either late this year or early next year, so I'll no doubt pop in and see them both, even though Christa lives right up in Maine. It looks like a pretty place to visit, good for photography no doubt too :D

Uh.... *pokes lip too*

I didn't update about my day today because it was boring as heck, so I've resorted to posting about stuff that's over a month old. I got paid today, yay! *throws all the money into savings*

Oh, and I cut my finger, it hurts ;(

So like, say hello to my sisters kitten.

The picture was taken back in October. She had to give it away since then, along with the three others. They were so cute ;(

So wanna hear all about my fun day? I'm sure you do!

For the whole of today I was running around London meeting possible new suppliers for where I work at. Basically I had to meet up with a load of big companies who were trying to sell me their products, and basically get my work to start stocking their range of stuff. Although I only work in a garden centre (Squires), you'd be amazed at some of the stuff some people actually tried to sell me today xD

Started off by leaving work at about 9am thismorning. The first meeting wasn't until 10:30am in central London, so I started my drive in there which usually takes an hour or so. I wasn't sure where there was parking or anything, so I set off a little earlier just to make sure I was there on time :D Didn't work though, I still managed to get there 10 minutes late xD I'm glad it was me doing the buying side and not the selling side, cause I know if the other dude had walked in late, I wouldn't have even given him a second thought.

He had these really cool things for your garden though XD One item was like these little rock-like frogs that you put around your garden between the plants, and it connects up to a special cd player type thingy that you can play music down to make your garden sound peaceful :o As cool as they were, I seriously couldn't see us selling them in or around the garden centre xD

The other cool thing he had was like these 5 foot tall lights on a pole. The whole pole glowed, and every few minutes the pole would change colour. Now, if they were literally just these lights, they woulda been really cool. The fact they'd been put on wheels and had a remote control not only made it less likely for us to be able to sell it, but it also bumped the price up to £75 ($130) a light. Woah o_O That'd mean we'd need to sell them for at least double that to make it worth while stocking them, and there's no way in hell my boss would go with that.

Second dude in London was kinda the same. Really really cool and fun items, but at the same time they'd tried too hard, and although I'd love all the junk in my garden, at the prices they were quoting and the kind of item we aim to stock where I work, both the first to were a big no-no ;( Shame realy, cause I woulda liked to get a few of the lights xD I actually wrote off to the guy when I got back to work to send me some pictures of them in the night, considering how bright they actually were in the daytime. If I get ahold of them, I'll put some pics up here :D

After that, I met up with Mr. Seller #3. He was actually the nicest guy I've met in a long time. Since we were both running late, him due to traffic and me having fun with the stuff the first two had, we decided to have our meeting over lunch. Being in London, and realising that both our companies were paying for everything, we headed over to the Hard Rock Cafe. Woo ;o Although more boring items, they were much more suitable and general purpose items that he was selling. At first the prices he was quoting were too high on like 100+ different products, but he offered to give us 15% of everything we spend in 2006 in December as long as we buy at least £25,000 ($45,000) of stock throughout the year. Easily enough task, so we signed contracts there and then. First thing I do tomorrow, order :D

Once we'd finished up with Lunch I headed over to our store training centre, which is about 30 minute drive from the main store where I work at. Met up with a few of the reps from the companies we already deal with just so they could update me on any new lines they want to introduce this year. Few new items, but since the majority of it had been sorted out in December, we pretty much just chatted away.

It's weird sitting at meetings knowing that you're like half the peoples age who you're dealing with, but at the same time knowing that they depend on you to keep buying their items and get their businesses running etc. I'm glad my jobs worked out so well, although I still would like to change some time soon.

Anyhow, after that, I headed on home where I have been ever since. One of the older companies we'd been dealing with also handed me a box with a tag saying "Thanks for all of your help in '05!". Wanna see what was inside? Well here it is...

Uh.... seeds anyone?

Ok, so I know I work in a garden centre, but seriously, packs of seeds? xD At first I laughed, but then realised there's like £160 ($280) worth of seeds in there, so I'll probably just stick them on eBay and make some easy money :D Other than that, not really much to update on, so I'll leave you here :o

So like, I ordered my new car today.

Ok, I didn't really, but I still think it's pretty and want one and stuff :D

Where to start, hmm...

Spent New Years over in New York. That was pretty fun actually, and another kinda random visit over to America, though my sister was already over there so met up with her. Welcomed the New Year in at Times Square which was definately a fun experience. I'd reccomend everyone to do it at least once in their lifetime.

Started standing there at 11am on the 31st. Since Times Square itself is really pretty small, all the good spaces by the stages and the ball go by midday, so we decided to camp out early for ours. One thing we kind of didn't think about is the fact that once you've got your spot, they actually fence you in to stop more people joining your little area and making it dangerous, but it also means that you can't get out ;( By about 4pm we started to get hungry. Luckily we'd bought drinks before we went into our little area so had those to keep us going, but I know I definately was hungry. Waited out a few more hours, and around 7pm it started to snow.

Ok, now, when you're standing still, and have been for the last 8 hours and it starts to snow? It huuuurts. Your joints are like so stiff you can't even move them, your totally freezing your butt off, and the smell of food from the surrounding food places mixed together are enough to drive anyone crazy. Literally six feet from the railing there was a little deli, but the police man wouldn't let me run over there, even when I said it was because I needed the bathroom ;(

Clearly some smart dude realised that no-one could get out, and about 8:30pm some guy came along and started selling whole 18" pizzas over the raillings to the prisoners inside them ;o He literally only had like 10 and there was a thousand or so people in our fence, so I just shoved a $20 bill at him and he handed me a pizza. Yay! :D Went and sat on the edge of the street while everyone around us gave us really mean evils ;( But I ate all the pizza and ignored them anyhow :D

As each hour passed, the new year was cheered in for the various countries. At 7pm when it was the UK's new year, you could tell how many English people were there for the fact it was louder than anyone elses xD It was fun though. We called home to wish the parents a happy new year when it turned 12 in the UK - We're just that nice xD

There was a family next to us from some place in Canada, I think near Toronto who'd never been to the States before (freaking weirdos o_O). Talked to them for like a few hours, and then the entertainment kicked in :o The wait was worth it though. Few bands performed on stage which was right in front of us (hence waiting from 11am). The countdown started on a huge clock at like two and a half minutes to go, and the atmosphere was all bubbly and happy. Dick Clark pushed the thingy at 10 seconds to go, and the million+ people all started to count down as the ball dropped. When it hit midnight, fireworks went off everywhere, people were cheering and hugging and all that kinda stuff, and the whole of New York was filled with confetti from the buildings above. Seriously, I'd do it next year if I could ;o

On the way back to the hotel, it was cool cause a lot of the roads were closed off. Once we got down about 5 blocks, they were open, and fucking hell, they were all full of cars o_o! Seriously, half the people clearly didn't care about New Years, though why they'd try and drive through NY City at just gone midnight is beyond me xD Carried on wandering down the middle of the road regardless of the traffic - It wasn't moving anyhow.

Other than that, I haven't really done much recently o_o I've had a chest infection for like the last month, and with that comes temperates, colds, sore throats, coughs - It's not nice :( Tried a few antibiotics for it from the doctos and nothing seems to work, so just gonna ride it out I guess.

Have a few meetings tomorrow for work. Gotta drive into London to meet a few possible suppliers for the company. It'd be cool if we decide to buy their stock cause I get like a tiny bit of comission for the first six months we sell their stock. Not much, but it's free money ;o

When bored, have a Tiger!

Ok, so I know it wasn't much of an update, although it took 45 mins to write xD I have done -some- stuff in the last half a month, but I'll work on that in anoter update sometime this week :D

So, this is where it all begins.

The ramblings of what's to happen in the rest of my life.

I'm not promising that this journal will be filled with happiness, nor with sadness. I'm not promising that you'll walk away laughing, or crying. You may smile, but you may frown. Either way, it's my journal, and everything you read within is my life.

Everyone is more than welcome to read, comment, post, whatever they feel like doing. All I ask is that you be honest, as that is all I will ever be in this journal.

Feel free to friend me, but don't be offended if I don't friend you back. My general rule is to only add people who I know personally, not friends of friends of friends. If I don't add you, it doesn't mean I don't like you, I just want to get to know you first.

Other than that, my name is Ben.

Welcome to my wonderful life.
